Between June 27th and 29^th, 2023, UNCOVER Project partners were invited to participate in the EACTDA Tools4LEAs Demonstration & Evaluation Event, which took place on the premises of the French National Gendarmerie in Paris. The Royal Military Academy (RMA), the National Institute for Criminalistics and Criminology (NICC) and the Central Office for Information Technology in the Security Sector (ZITiS) were there to present the results of UNCOVER and evaluate and test the other tools presented.

The Tools4LEAs project aims at establishing a long-term and sustainable structure that delivers on a regular basis tool that are ready to be used at operational level by European public security practitioners (law enforcement agencies, forensic institutes, and others), primarily in their digital investigations. During the Tools4LEAs Demonstration & Evaluation Event, several selected tool will be presented and demonstrated to the EUAB members and other interested partners/institutions. The main purpose of the event is to present and demonstrate the tools that have finished their development phase by the technology providers, and been tested by the EACDTA IT Team before the event. The purpose of the participants’ attendance is to provide their feedback and expert evaluation about those tools.

Members of the UNCOVER Project also had the opportunity to visit the forensic lab in Pontoise and the Campus Cyber.
